Looking Ahead to Red Dot Challenge, Season 1

It's been awhile since our last post. We've been hard at work getting ready. So, here's a quick update.

Since early August Red Dot Challenge game administrators, Rome Celli & James Tabbi, have been in discussions about expanding on the pilot version of the game  to capture more of the original vision.

Red Dot Challenge, "Season 1" is expected to include a longer timeframe for gameplay, more players as well as more budget categories. In addition, the game administrators are beta-testing a social media component with the hope that members of the public will be able to participate alongside players as the game unfolds in real time.

Ideas for expansion and improvement have also been informed by a number of additional meetings with collectors and artists. Rome has been meeting with players from the pilot season to review their experiences from the pilot in more detail. He also met with a group at Fuego Coffee to bounce ideas around.  One-on-one meetings have also taken place for those that couldn't make it to Fuego.

If you have some input on the game or if you'd like to be a player in the next season, please reach out to [email protected].
