Guided Tour: Starting At Visual Studies Workshop And Proceeding Along East Avenue Friday, October 11th @ 6:00 pm We'll meet inside Visual Studies Workshop to experience the Seeing Change exhibition. There will be a brief presentation on Seeing Change beginning at 6:00 pm. From VSW we'll stroll along Prince Street to East Avenue at Alexander and then down to Rochester Contemporary Art Center stopping at each CURRENT SEEN venue as we go. Each stop will include a brief presentation. You'll be treated to background information about the public art installations associated with CURRENT SEEN as we experience the work on our route. We expect lively discussions to ensue as we walk along. On the way back you can stay with the group or proceed at your own pace. You may want to revisit or linger at one or more of the venues. If the weather is bracing, we may even stop for warm beverages! The distance from VSW to RoCo is about 1/2 mile. The entire route back-and-forth is just over one mile. The program, including the return trip, should run 90 minutes or so. There will be at least four indoor stops along the route (in both directions). Parking: FREE in the Visual Studies Workshop parking lot. Cost: FREE and open to the public to the public. Please register above. Note: The program will proceed rain or shine.
